Plenty of rain, and not much else. It eased off early evening, and I did spend a short time outside in the vain hope that the badger would return. It didn&#39;t, but the foxes did.<br \/><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/07\/fox_bold_vixen_0907087524.jpg' \/><\/span> <span class=\"aligncenter\">The bold vixen<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/07\/fox_dog_0907087548.jpg' \/><\/span> <span class=\"aligncenter\">The old dog fox<\/span><\/p>\n<p>He is still by the far the more dominant of the pair, happily pushing her out of the way in typical fox fashion (i.e. with his rear end, behaviour I&#39;ve only previously seen among fox cubs).
