We'd gone there because it is near the garage where I was having my car fixed (my satnav somehow broke the cigar lighter over the weekend, which also blew the radio and trip computer). So getting the car back put us in the right location, and the weather today was surprisingly pleasant after all the recent gloom. It's a very relaxed location, with a good range of walks through the wildfowl collection. I prefer my wildlife 'wild', but we enjoyed BWMM. Here's a small selection of pictures.

Peacock chicks

Cockerel near the entrance

I've no idea what this is, but it looked good!

We also checked out the collection of cars, but I have to admit it was a replica that caused me most excitement! It is easily the best toy car ever.

Corgi Aston Martin DB5

As for the flamingos in the title, well they were slightly hidden away on the wildfowl reserve but I did manage to find a viewing point.

Pink Flamingos

Camera note: the cockerel and cars were taken with the EF17-40mm f/4L USM lens.
