Today proved to be one of those autumn days when the light was perfect, the skies blue and the colours vibrant. The birds were quiet, so I switched lenses and focused on the landscape.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/10\/Richmond_Hill_Stanmer_2710089973.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img SRC=\"https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/10\/Richmond_Hill_Stanmer_2710089973.jpg\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/10\/Richmond_Hill_Stanmer_2710089966.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img SRC=\"https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/10\/Richmond_Hill_Stanmer_2710089966.jpg\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, in the garden tonight nicked-ear was back, looking as graceful as ever. She tends to scour the borders, and this evening her attention was caught by something moving in the undergrowth. I was about 30 feet away so couldn&#39;t see what it was that had attracted her. Until later, that is. If you look closely in this first shot you can see a hedgehog moving away from her.
