Entirely my fault. I watered the garden yesterday, so rain was more or less guaranteed for today \ud83d\ude41<\/p>\n<p>Rain, and stifling humidity with dark skies and little or no breeze. Not a day for heading to the downs: in the ever constant search for workable light, the coast offers the better opportunities. Even there it was a struggle, especially as instead of looking to the reflective white of the cliffs for the fulmars (they were there, but quiet), I concentrated on an altogether less frequent visitor down among the dark of the rock pools. These shots were taken from the cliff-side path, which provided a good overhead view of the beach and a firm place to rest the camera. Even so, it was a struggle to get a workable shutter speed.
