Not yet in any great number, but they are around and causing me the usual headache of trying to identify the blue varieties. So I&#39;ll start with an easy one&#8230;<br \/><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/05\/large_red_damselfly_3105095590.jpg' \/><\/span> <span class=\"aligncenter\">Large red damselfly<\/span><\/p>\n<p>This next one I&#39;m less certain about. The dominance of black suggests a female azure, but that could be way off the mark.<br \/><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/05\/damselfly_3105095621.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/05\/damselfly_3105095630.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/05\/large_red_damselfly_3005095496.jpg' \/><\/span> <span class=\"aligncenter\">Another easy one&#8230; large red \ud83d\ude09 <\/span><\/p>\n<p>And this one I think has to be a common blue, but then again&#8230;<br \/><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/05\/blue_damselfly_3105095631.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p>This next creature I can identify (I think)). It&#39;s a mullein moth caterpillar and is proving one of the easier small creatures to photograph as it stays firmly on its plant of choice.<br \/><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/05\/mullein_moth_caterpillar_3005095440.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p>And finally, another one where I don&#39;t know the exact species, but I do know the general type: spider!
