I make these kind of promises to myself, and I stuck to this one until about 8.00am this morning when I &#39;found&#39; myself back there equipped with the prime lens and teleconverter. I&#39;ll get some decent shots soon. Oh, and near where I saw the dragonfly exuvia yesterday I spotted an emperor dragonfly this morning. It was far too active to photograph, but I&#39;ll persist if it stays around. They are among the most beautiful of the dragonflies, but rarely settle.<\/p>\n<p>Bold Vixen was back this evening, still running solo but tonight she&#39;d evidently been out shopping before she wandered into our garden. <br \/><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/06\/fox_bold_vixen_0206096106.jpg' \/><\/span> <span class=\"aligncenter\">Vixen with a chop<\/span><br \/><span class=\"aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/natureblognetwork.com\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/natureblognetwork.com\/button.php?u=Words\" width=\"0\" height=\"0\" alt=\"Nature Blog Network\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/span><br \/><i>Camera note: the chicks were photographed with the EF 400mm f\/5.6L USM lens, and from shot two or three I added the Kenko Teleplus 1.4x Pro 300 DG teleconverter.
