It&#39;s wooded parkland, more manicured than much of the surrounding downland, and it boasts a wide and wonderful array of trees. In the centre of the park there&#39;s a small village and church. <br \/>.<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/stanmer_church_1610097171.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/stanmer_church_1610097171.jpg\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" alt=\"stanmer church\" \/><span class=\"aligncenter\">Stanmer Church<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And near the church there&#39;s a pond. And where there&#39;s a pond, there are ducks.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/ducks_x3_1610097207.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/ducks_x3_1610097207.jpg\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" alt=\"stanmer pond and ducks\" \/><span class=\"aligncenter\">Stanmer Pond<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Along the edge of the park, cattle graze, and the mothers feed their young.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/calf_1610097276.jpg\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" alt=\"calf feeding\" \/><span class=\"aligncenter\">Calf suckling<\/span><\/p>\n<p>And of course there were birds, including several mistle thrush which are usually heard before seen.
