With all the excitement of the fox cubs, I've neglected some of the other garden residents. <\/p>\n

The tadpoles have all but disappeared into the depths of the pond, but the damselfly nymphs are nearing maturity and will soon be emerging in all their glory. For now, they are still more alien than angel.
<\/span> <\/p>\n

Other bugs are emerging as well. I've seen some ladybirds (no pictures yet), but this strange beetle was crawling along the pond wall yesterday.

And we still have hedgehogs, despite Bold's rather cavalier treatment<\/a> of one a week or so ago.
<\/span> <\/p>\n

I haven't seen the cubs tonight, so here's some video from last night.<\/p>\n
