Late last night we glanced out of the window overlooking the street and were greeted with the sight of five playful young foxes frolicking under the street lights. These photos were hand-held, manually focused, and taken on long exposures without flash through a double-glazed window. Despite that, I like them \ud83d\ude09

In sharp contrast, the following shots were taken at the local dewpond, at lunchtime in warm sunshine. The Emperors are enjoying the best season I can remember. The much smaller damselflies flutter around, and occasionally land on, the female as she lays her eggs.
