Another, which is reserved for when the rain is really heavy,  is &#39;raining cats and dogs&#39;. And unfortunately in the 20 minutes I got outside today, it was definitely the latter&#8230; and of course neither  a cat nor dog &#8211; nor indeed any other creature &#8211; was anywhere to be seen. A few hapless people were caught in it though (including me).<br \/><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/rain_111110_012.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/rain_111110_013.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p>Strong winds tonight, and some minimal damage in the garden which will need to be repaired at the weekend. There&#39;s the promise of a slight improvement in the weather tomorrow. I hope so.
