This far south we&#39;ve so far missed the worst of it, but the temperature is struggling to get above 0\u00ba. <\/p>\n<p>The fountains were freezing&#8230;<br \/><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/ice_2910110399.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p>&#8230;and the lakes were transformed into skating rinks (for birds)<br \/><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/frozenlake_2910110409.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/black_headed_gulls_frozenlake_2910110411.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p>The freeze is not (yet) quite complete&#8230; tomorrow it may be different.<br \/><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/heron_frozenlake_2910110416.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p>And of course squirrels were among the more active animals, but then they do have a nice warm coat. London is due for an overnight fall.
