The first sequence was taken at lunchtime. I didn&#39;t venture far into the park but sometimes you don&#39;t need to work too hard to find what you&#39;re looking for. I did see a few shooting stars, but didn&#39;t capture any on camera. I did manage a fox though. Bold, to be precise. She was in one of her exploring moods.<br \/><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/fox_bold_1412103764.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/fox_bold_1412103779.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/fox_bold_1412103867.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/fox_bold_1412103832.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p>So a good day for mammals, which goes some way to compensating for the train breaking down on my way to work this morning (the doors weren&#39;t working, a far too common problem for the &#39;Gatwick Express&#39;), resulting in a packed train of commuters being decanted on to a freezing platform in mid-Sussex. Hmmm&#8230;.<br \/><span class=\"aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/natureblognetwork.com\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/natureblognetwork.com\/button.php?u=Words\" width=\"0\" height=\"0\" alt=\"Nature Blog Network\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/span><br \/><i>Camera note: all day shots taken with the Canon 40D  and EF 200mm f\/2.8L II USM.
