No, Parakeet!"},"content":{"rendered":"<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->The promised sunshine proved to be little more than a political promise, snatched away before I could enjoy it; but it was a touch brighter than yesterday, and the parakeets excelled themselves. They were once again flitting among the trees on the wooded island in the lake, but settled in areas where I could at least get a reasonably clear shot.
