On my way to work this morning I stopped off at one of my favourite local spots. The Downs were shrouded in a heavy mist, one of the more constant weather features of living in the hills.

Few birds were about, but I did glimpse a lone yellowhammer.
<\/span> <\/p>\n

And, through a gap in the hedge a couple of sheep…
<\/span> <\/p>\n

The day brightened, but I didn't get a chance for more pictures until tonight.

The foxes were evasive, but I did glimpse a badger in the corner of the garden. Unfortunately it also glimpsed me and was gone before I could contemplate a photo. Maybe next time \ud83d\ude09
