The first is by far the largest of them, a pheasant out grazing in a field early this morning. <br \/><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/pheasant_0803117125.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p>A blackbird was flitting among the trees and paused briefly on the ruins of a farm building.<br \/><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/blackbird_0803117141.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p>Next is a dunnock, which somehow has adopted an expression that I can only describe as &#39;squashed&#39;. <br \/><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/dunncok_0803117134.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p>I&#39;m not even sure if you&#39;ll be able to see this next one. This is at 400mm zoom, but uncropped.<br \/><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/ltt_0803117166.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p>This one might make things a little easier.<br \/><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/ltt_0803117173.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p>And if you are still struggling, here&#39;s a closer shot of a long-tailed tit. Such pretty little things; not shy, but obsessively committed to making themselves as difficult to photograph as possible.<br \/><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/ltt_0803117180.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p>There are several foxes passing through the garden, but only Shutterbug will tolerate the camera.
