Still, a mini-heatwave is promised for the weekend, so things may be on the up. Anyway, I saw these two red-legged partridges out for a stroll early this morning.<br \/><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/red_legged_partridge_2306119155.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/red_legged_partridge_2306119157.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p>I&#39;ve spotted several more roofs at work which are home to herring gull chicks. I suspect that television reception in this building isn&#39;t what it&#39;s meant to be!<br \/><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/gull_chicks_2306119176.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile the surviving two chicks that I&#39;ve been focusing on are doing very well.
