The buzzards (which live on the other side of the field) were being extremely cooperative while I was waiting, and several were cruising overhead in the warm sunshine.<br \/><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/buzzard_1007113308.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/buzzard_1007113311.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/buzzard_1007113449.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/buzzard_x2_1007113453.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p>I was also able to get closer to the horses that occasionally feature in some of my photos across the fields. They&#39;re fine looking animals, and the light was excellent.<br \/><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/horse_1007113405.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p>There were plenty of rabbits too, but the foxes failed to put in a appearance. <\/p>\n<p>Back home it was another day of insects. Several hummingbird hawk-moths were feeding on the lavender.<br \/><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/hummingbird_hawkmoth_1007113223.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/hummingbird_hawkmoth_1007113232.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/hummingbird_hawkmoth_1007113247.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p>And tonight the pond promises more dragonflies.
