So I slapped on a short lens and took a few atmospheric shots of the local churchyard. I&#39;ve processed them  in black and white, which seems absolutely the best thing for them. Not my usual sort of picture at all, but occasionally it&#39;s good to try something slightly different.<br \/><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/churchyard_2709113700.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/churchyard_2709113704.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/churchyard_2709113706.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p>By lunchtime the mist was gone and it had turned into a beautiful sunny day and I was back to my usual photographic subjects.<br \/><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/heron_2709113768.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/gull_2709113818.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p>Just a fleeting glimpse of a fox in the garden tonight (the current visitors are the shyest I can recall), so instead a couple of the garden amphibians out on the prowl. First a newt&#8230; then a frog.<br \/><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/newt_2709113881.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/frog_2709113893.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p>Unrelenting sun is forecast for the rest of the week. Bizarre, but very welcome if true.
