But grey is the dominant theme so what better subject than a grey heron, seen at my usual early morning haunt today.<br \/><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/heron_0911110368.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/heron_0911110369.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/heron_0911110440.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/heron_0911110433.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p>As for the hint of blue sky, I had to work quickly to catch this cormorant as it flew across the small break in the clouds.<br \/><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/cormorant_0911110483.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p>The rest are against greyer skies&#8230; fortunately masked by some slightly more picturesque backgrounds.<br \/><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/cormorant_0911110599.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/cormorant_0911110614.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p>And one more shot, surrounded by a flock of black-headed gulls.<br \/><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/cormorant_0911110556.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p>Final two shots tonight are of the moon, which is full and rose early evening.
