For the technically minded I&#39;m shooting these at around 1\/5s to 1\/10s. <br \/><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/heron_blur_1711112015.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/heron_blur_1711112016.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/heron_blur_1711112017.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p>I also spotted a cormorant coming in to land on the top of a tree. Problem was that while the branch is perfectly capable of supporting smaller birds, it couldn&#39;t quite handle the weight of a large and well-fed cormorant.
