<\/span> <\/p>\nSeveral robins were darting around as well, including this one which posed briefly in a shaft of weak sunlight. The moorhen is included for the pose\/setting. As is this mallard male. Those were all taken at lunchtime on Thursday. Just a couple of shots from earlier in the same day. There's a small group of greylags that are permanent residents at the pond, but on Thursday morning a sizeable flock had landed on the water. They were gone by lunchtime, but I expect some of them to return over the coming weeks. No foxes tonight, but the recent shots will no doubt find a place on my fox of the day<\/a> page over the coming week or so.
