There were a couple of shots of Shutterbug at around 11pm, and then nothing. No sign of the vixen at all. <br \/><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/fox_shutterbug_0403120150.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p>The camera is set up again for tonight so I&#39;ll be able to see if they do show up, but I would hazard a guess that the vixen has gone to ground to give birth to cubs. It then depends how far away she is as to how long it will be before she reappears in  the garden, and several weeks more before even a glimmer of any cubs above ground. If they&#39;re not very close by I wouldn&#39;t expect any youngsters until around June.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile it was a cold and quiet day at the pond.
