The proper start of a new year, back to work, and back to Falmer Pond. Which means, back to rats.<\/p>\n

It was fairly overcast (nearly dark) this morning, so this sequence – which is by way of re-acquainting myself with the usual routine – was taken at lunchtime. There’s not a great deal to say about them, but I was pleased with the short sequence of the rat descending to the water. Unfortunately there were too many intervening branches to get a clear short of the rat swimming across to the bank. Another time maybe.<\/p>\n
