After all, it&#39;s in a fixed position and I have no control over start and finish, to say nothing of angle or position. But last night was different. A 30 second clip captured everything in the sequence. I&#39;ve seen young foxes behave like this, but never adults. The video shows a pair of vixens engaging in a &#39;fox trot&#39;, where they rear up on their hind legs and grapple. The prize in this instance was a smattering of dog biscuits. I&#39;ve added a short sound track to it from the auto-select feature on YouTube.<\/p>\n<div class=\"reactr-oembed-wrap clr\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Fox Trot\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/MGXIxRy-lGU?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>It&#39;s taken several years of nightly filming to get that. \ud83d\ude00<\/p>\n<p>As for today, it was another warm one and the house martins were again busy collecting mud for their nests.<br \/><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/house_martin_2805129052.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p>The swifts were chasing insect overhead.<br \/><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/swift_2805129019.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p>And this little warbler (?) clearly has some greedy mouths to feed.<br \/><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/warbler_2805129001.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p>To close another shot from last night. I took this shortly after midnight (Sunday\/Monday). The moon was setting in the west.
