Well it’s definitely the week of the goose down at Falmer Pond. Today’s surprise visitor was a lone Egyptian goose. These are very pretty birds (if you are in London there are plenty in Regent’s Park), and a species I’ve not seen locally before. It kept very much to itself, and was briefly dive-bombed by a couple of herring gulls. <\/p>\n
