Presumably breeding behaviour as from what I can gather they prefer still\/stagnant water for spawning.<br \/><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/carp_1007128779.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/carp_1007128764.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p>Fox-wise it&#39;s been relatively quiet after last night&#39;s activity, and the return of the rain hasn&#39;t helped. Still I did finally get a sighting of Shutterbug this evening (no photo) as he came through the garden carrying a large quantity of food, possibly a rabbit, but it was difficult to see and he wasn&#39;t hanging around.<\/p>\n<p>Later on the cubs appeared briefly.
