True to form, Sunday's day of sun was followed by a truly dismal Monday. Low temperatures, high winds, grey skies and rain. Always the rain. One of the most dismal days of this dire summer. Not even a sighting of a fox to make up for it!<\/p>\n

The best I can do are these few cold little creatures making the best they can of a bad lot.

I don't even hold out much hope for the trail cam tonight \ud83d\ude09

The better news is that the jet stream (the band of air that is causing all this 'weather') is predicted to start migrating north, putting us on its warmer south side by next week. That's how things should be. We'll have to wait and see, but I suspect I'm not alone in wishing it would get a move on.
