One of the more unusual aspects of Stanmer (which essentially is a municipal park, though quite large) is that it contains an entire village within it, including its own church.<br \/><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/stanmer_church_0808124511.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p>There&#39;s also a village pond (no English village is complete without one).<br \/><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/duck_0808124517.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p>Wildlife was notable by its absence (which is par for the course at the moment). This is a good spot for kestrels and sparrowhawks, but all I managed was a jackdaw and a caterpillar (which I&#39;ve so far failed to identify).<br \/><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/jackdaw_0808124498.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/caterpillar_0808124499.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p>And that&#39;s about it.
