Such as this gull&#8230;<br \/><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/gull_1809124218.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p>And I hope whoever lives here didn&#39;t suffer interference on their television&#8230;<br \/><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/collared_dove_1809124226.jpg' \/><\/span> <span class=\"aligncenter\">Collared doves<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Herons, even when they are in a devilish mood, prefer to stick to what they know&#8230; trees. <br \/><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/heron_1809124282.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p>And as for badgers, they are perched on the precipice of a cull (which could start within days), so an urgent reminder (if you are in the UK) to sign the e-petition calling for a halt. It&#39;s bad science, bad for wildlife and won&#39;t curb bovine TB. Many of the culled badgers are likely to be the healthy ones and the disruption to territorial activity (perturbation) may even spread the risk of bovine TB. In other words the cull could make things worse not better. We need to put resources into oral vaccines which will deliver long-term, sustainable results; not into unscientific culls.
