Lots of it if you&#39;re English, but probably not worthy of mention in most of the rest of the world. It was enough though to cause traffic chaos, close schools and universities and to give us our very modest taste of winter. Up here at the top of  the South Downs (elevation approximately 500&#39;) we do tend to bear the brunt of whatever does fall. The roads freeze, traffic grinds (or slides) to a halt, and for a day or so we&#39;re more or less cut off from the city and the coast. <\/p>\n<p>The foxes don&#39;t mind though, not now they&#39;re sporting fine winter coats. I think this is Shutterbug, photographed through a closed window during the morning (hence the slightly dodgy quality).<br \/><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/fox_snow_1801135433.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/fox_snow_1801135434.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p>I&#39;ve also put together a series of trailcam clips, starting from around 7.00am and running through to early afternoon to give a sense of how the day developed.
