Warm air is travelling up from France and (so I understand) it will gather moisture as it crosses the Channel and drop the lot on the southern part of the country as it hits land. Which means us. :psmurf: <\/p>\n<p>Today was just cold, and icy underfoot. This was taken in the early hours of Saturday morning.<br \/><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/night_1901135453.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p>And this towards the middle of the day. It gives a reasonable impression of how bleak the Downs can become.<br \/><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/snow_1901135487.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p>I wasn&#39;t fortunate enough to see any more foxes during the day, but a pretty little wren did pause in the garden just long enough for a couple shots.<br \/><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/wren_1901135467.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/wren_1901135468.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p>The trail camera never sleeps. The foxes were in and out of the garden for most of the night .
