This is really just an experiment. I was in Hastings today and took this panoramic photo of the pier (recently restored) during a short break between meetings. The experimental bit of it is that it’s two shots merged together in the latest Photoshop. <\/p>\n

Up until now I’ve been using Elements 9 (yes, something that old), but I finally succumbed to the Creative Cloud option (free via a work licence) and so far so very good. I’m still playing around with it so you can expect a few more experiments in the coming weeks. Creating 3D images is on the list. <\/p>\n

I’m also using the latest Lightroom (version 6, part of Creative Cloud) for initial processing (great ‘red eye’ tools for animals among other things, so a nice upgrade from my stand-alone version 5). <\/p>\n
