A damp squib. No, not a new and exotic species but an unadorned description of the day: early mist followed by persistent rain. Not much to show for it, but the dancing duck from yesterday has branched out into the music business and changed her stage to a picturesque stone wall. She's obviously touting for a mass market audience. So here she is… the new diva of Falmer. :sing:

As for the rest, given the state of the weather the only creatures happy to come out were the newts. There's quite a colony underneath all the weed, and as with last year I expect them to overrun everything else in there.
