It's still very muddy on the Downs, but with some clearer skies I ventured out to the fields this lunchtime. Being able to get out into real countryside is one of the pleasures of living and working in close proximity to the South Downs National Park. <\/p>\n

Here are some young lambs enjoying the improved weather and food on tap.

While I was out there I also spotted a kestrel in the distance, and a buzzard flying over woodland.
