Well it was a dry start to the Bank Holiday (which is itself something of a bonus), but still bitterly cold. There were plenty of foolhardy souls willing to brave the chill on Brighton seafront, and those who did were granted some late afternoon sunshine. It did nothing for the temperature which stayed at a steadfast 2\u00b0C but which at times felt like -6\u00b0C with wind chill (for those of us who prefer proper temperatures – ie Fahrenheit – this is a true temperature of around 36\u00b0F but feeling like 21\u00b0F). :psmurf:<\/p>\n

Not surprisingly I didn't take many photos, but early on I did take a quick sequence of shots around the entrance to the Palace Pier (improper name 'Brighton Pier'). In the third photo you'll note that the icecream shop is closed. Clearly they weren't expecting many takers today. The colour processing was all carried out in Lightroom.
