Yes, it&#39;s still on the cold side, and a little overcast; but it was dry, and the winds have dropped (but, irritatingly,  are still coming from the East). The jackdaws don&#39;t seem to mind though, and collectively were putting on a good display of springtime behaviour.<br \/><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/jackdaw_0804138076.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p>This one was gathering nest material.<br \/><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/jackdaw_0804137947.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/jackdaw_0804137960.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p>While another makes good its getaway with some of the bread left out for the ducks.<br \/><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/jackdaw_0804138074.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p>The rabbits also seem to be doing well, and the churchyards are a busy little playground for the youngsters. This pair paused from their play just long enough for a grabbed shot.<br \/><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/rabbit_0804138040.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p>Even the squirrels are busy ( though I do wonder if they think autumn is just around the corner).<br \/><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/squirrel_0804137975.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p>Back in the garden the foxes are still playing dodge-the-camera, so it&#39;s more from the trail cam (set to take stills for a little while). First is a fox with a limp. This one is of a nervous disposition, probably a yearling, and almost never willing to sit down and relax. It steals the peanuts one by one, even when on its own.<br \/><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/fox_0804130089.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p>The last shot tonight (and note the temperature recorded by the camera) is a badger, facing the wrong way.
