House martins build elaborate nests (a bit like bee hives in shape) from mud which they collect from the edge of the pond. <br \/><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/house_martins_0705133898.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/house_martins_0705133909.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p><span class='imgcenter'><img alt='' src='https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/house_martins_0705133934.jpg' \/><\/span> <\/p>\n<p>Back home, the fox cubs are a constant source of entertainment and delight as they skip, fight and play all around the garden. They are still mainly nocturnal, but a pair did show up on the trail cam late this morning so daytime photos are a possibility as they get a little older.
