The photos aren’t up to much, but they’re the first sighting this year of a fox cub (kit). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’d spotted Lopa venturing out and a few minutes later spotted her cutting back across to where she had come from. Then out again, this time followed by a tiny fox cub. The cub only stayed put for a few moments (I think Lopa had brought some food to it which explains the head down pose in the second image.) The it was gone. It’s approximately 7 weeks old. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hopefully we’ll see more over the coming days and weeks. I’m also keen to find out whether this is a singleton cub or whether it has any siblings. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
