I glanced out of the kitchen window to where the dog fox sometimes emerges from the garden of the house opposite. There was some movement. Not a fox. Not a cat. A badger! \ud83d\ude00  It scuttled off quickly down the street, so I only saw it for a few seconds. But it was unmistakeable. A living, breathing wedge of a beast. And that was it: the first time I&#39;ve <i>ever<\/i> seen a live badger.<\/p>\n<p>No foxes though tonight.
