The fox showed up early today, just as the sun was setting. We'd seen the vixen flitting through the shrubs at the back of the garden a little earlier, but as usual she kept well out of camera shot. The dog fox though, well he just strolled up without a care in the world.<\/p>\n

We gave him some leftover lamb which we had in the kitchen. He clearly appreciated it. <\/p>\n

It was no surprise that he was still out in the garden when we popped out a little later on.<\/p>\n

No fool, he jumped down to see if anything was on offer.<\/p>\n

But even a fox has to earn his keep, so like the good fox he is he posed for a portrait.<\/p>\n

And then popped down for a close-up.<\/p>\n
