As it happens, he didn&#39;t seemed too bothered by the noise of the fireworks over the weekend and was happy enough to stay in the garden while rockets were flying around overhead. I guess they get used to it. He&#39;s far more skittish when the wind is high. <\/p>\n<p>Our usual routine is either that I look out of the window and he&#39;s there, or I have to wait for a while to see if he&#39;ll show up. But last night and tonight he appeared almost instantly I went outside, and trotted at speed toward me down the length of the garden. And then later on he was sitting on the lawn facing the door when I had a quick peek out of the window.
