I came across this on the F-Secure blog. It's called SpyAxe<\/a> (the link is to F-Secure's description). Basically it downloads itself silently to your PC, "detects" SpyWare, notifies you that you are infected, but will only let you attempt to clean it if you pay. Don't! Read the linked article to see why not. <\/p>\n

The F-Secure blog by the way is a great place for keeping up with the latest on viruses, spyware and associated nasties.
