Friendly as ever, he hung around with us for about 20 minutes. I think he must have read my post from earlier today and got jealous, or maybe it&#39;s the (nearly) full moon that&#39;s brought him out. You can see some light scarring on his muzzle in this photo, which may explain some of the screeching we&#39;ve heard in recent nights. I had thought that the territorial battles were over by late autumn, but from what I&#39;ve been reading it seems they continue right through to the end of the mating season (around now).
