Mainly their diet consists of small bugs, especially the May Bug which is plentiful at the moment. They&#39;ll also eat worms, slugs and pretty much anything else that crawls. <\/p>\n<p>One speciality treat they seem to like are the snails, which gather on walls and along the edge of the pond. I caught a few snaps of one of the cubs fishing for them tonight. He&#39;d managed to dislodge one from the pond edge and it was floating a few inches out.
