Generally two of the cubs have been showing up early evening, and occasionally a third one. No fighting and not too much playing either. The warm weather has provided plenty of bugs for them to eat, and they spend a good part of the time scratching at the grass looking for grubs.

As well as the cubs, there have been numerous butterflies, though oddly I can't recall seeing any of the normally ubiquitous cabbage whites. The first one isn't at all familiar to me, but was hovering close to the ground at the weekend.

This next one (a Red Admiral) arrives with a companion, and is fluttering around most evenings.

As well as these flighty visitors, the flowers are blooming.
