That&#39;s where I took the photo of the Post Office Tower. I also spent a few minutes in Tavistock Square photographing the wildlife there, and nearly getting myself knocked over by flocks of pigeons.<\/p>\n<p>I&#39;d started by taking a few pictures of them in the open, but I then wandered under a heavy tree canopy and to my astonishment a flock headed straight for me. Within a few seconds the ground at my feet was heaving, and a flock was surrounding me in the air. So close I could feel their wings beating the air against me. A couple of the pigeons were holding their position for what would have been a perfect &#39;in flight&#39; photo had I had the wit about me to focus the camera properly. I didn&#39;t and most of the rapid series of shots were a mess of blurs and out of focus darkness. I&#39;ll know better next time.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#39;s a few that did work out ok.
