Well I'm finally able to upload photos properly again. I dumped my old router (a Linksys WAG54G) in favour of a NetGear router. If not exactly flying, my 1MB connection is now holding steady and the uploading problems of the past few weeks seem to be over. <\/p>\n

Another glorious spring day today, and although the smaller creatures are not yet out in force, there was still plenty to enjoy. <\/p>\n

First the bugs.<\/span>Peacock Butterfly – tongue extended<\/span><\/a> <\/p>\n

<\/span>A better view<\/span><\/a> <\/p>\n

<\/span>And with the tongue curled<\/span><\/a> <\/p>\n

<\/span>Bee hovering by a grape hyacinth. You can just see the pollen sac.<\/span><\/a> <\/p>\n

And now the birds…<\/p>\n

<\/span>Greenfinch<\/span><\/a> <\/p>\n

<\/span>The magpies put on a great afternoon display<\/span><\/a> <\/p>\n

<\/span>The wood pigeon kept a beady eye on everything<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n

<\/span>And finally, a sparrowhawk strayed into view!<\/span><\/a> <\/p>\n
