The leaves are falling, and the colours are deepening. It's most certainly 'that time of year' again and the launch of the annual 'Autumn Photo Network'<\/a> (APN). There's a link to current albums somewhere in the side-bar (I wish I could re-arrange the order that displays, but I promise it's there). And so for tonight I'll start with a couple (the only two in fact) so far in my Autumn in Sussex<\/a> album.<\/p>\n

I've one other shot for tonight. It's a young newt which will slowly lose its gills over the next few weeks. We seem to have a healthy number of them in the pond, but trying to spot them among the weed (they're tiny) is a lengthy process! I'll be adding more to the Amphibians<\/a> album, but for now will close tonight's post with this shot. <\/p>\n
