And at the end of July I witnessed a <a href=\"http:\/\/my.opera.com\/Words\/blog\/2007\/07\/22\/the-spider-the-fly-and-the-wasp\" target=\"_blank\">wasp attacking<\/a> a spider. Today I watched as a wasp became entangled in a web&#8230;<br \/>\n<span class=\"imgcenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/10\/wasp_web_1410072391.jpg\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"imgcenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/10\/wasp_web_1410072395.jpg\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"imgcenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.permuted.org.uk\/photography\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/10\/wasp_web_1410072398.jpg\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The wasp eventually freed itself and flew off, none the worse for the encounter. Interestingly, the spider didn&#8217;t appear to try and catch its potential prey.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s an different web, elsewhere in the garden.
