July was a busy month for the foxes. By this time the cubs were much more active, and towards the end of the month we were treated by seeing all three cubs out with the adult male fox.

In the first few photos you can see how well the wound on the adult's head has healed (see previous months for more detail). On the 11th, the adult fox passed through the garden carrying a pigeon. We'd seen him bring back food on previous occasions, but this was the first chance to catch the moment on camera (shots aren't great). Meanwhile the bold young cub became fascinated by the fallen apples. There's some video as well linked from the photo on the 15th.

My favourite sequence though came right at the end of the month. The adult appeared in the garden with all three cubs for a mid-morning romp. The sequence was taken through a window.
